Windows 11

Windows 10 support ends on October 14th.
I bought two computers, a desktop and a laptop.
Moving data is a real pain... even though nothing is broken.
My first computer was Windows 95.
It was a portable IBM ThinkPad laptop.
It had an external floppy disk drive, something you don't see anymore, and cost around 450,000 yen back then.
At the time, I thought it was like a home appliance, and that it would last a long time for its price without any "updates."
In my 20s and 30s, I worked in wholesale, retail, and sales, relying on physical strength, thinking computers had nothing to do with it.
In my 40s, I managed a rapidly growing fashion brand, learned about databases, and studied them.
In my 50s, to become independent, I created the "tearsheaven" database on Windows 95, and that's where I am today.
Now, with e-commerce and images, computers are essential not just for work but for everyday life.
However, I've recently been feeling a definite decline in my ability to remember and learn.
Also, I spend a lot of time sitting and working, which often leads to a lack of exercise.
Parts that arrived last week.
I'm off to Asakusabashi, a parts store, to buy stones and assemble them.
Look forward to the new arrivals!
