I overstocked and it's just sitting there...

A parts shop is one place where my creative spirit often swells.
Despite going to buy out-of-stock parts, I often end up purchasing completely different items. In my head, the plan conveniently progresses in a positive direction: "planning," "production," "sales," and "hit!"

I found these shower base earring parts, which I bought about 8 years ago and never used, deep in a drawer while cleaning during the Obon holiday.
They're the type where you weave various parts onto the shower base with wire. My idea was to create unique earrings using roses, Swarovski crystals, pearls, and Gothic Lolita parts like "skulls" and "crosses" – sure to be a sellout! Such a simple plan...

I gathered the parts to try making one first.
One side is mostly finished.
Unlike the rings I made before, these are earrings, so I have to make both sides.
Making them symmetrical is quite difficult, and after repeated adjustments, it took about an hour...

Finished!
I tie the wire, glue it to secure it, and then attach the earring parts.

The "White Rose Skull Earrings" are full of handmade charm.
I still need to make them in different colors.
Because there are 19 more parts left...
