It's Halloween, so Tearsheaven must sell well in October, right?!
Every year around this time, everyone I meet says that to me.
Indeed, when I first started "tearsheaven," the motifs of cobwebs, bats, and skulls suited Halloween, so sales did increase quite a bit.
About 20 years ago...
A regular customer planned and executed a Halloween costume parade, but complaints came from shopping districts and it was canceled... At that time, Halloween itself wasn't very well-known.
Time passed...
Now, as soon as September begins, 100-yen shops and Don Quijote set up huge displays!
Halloween has gone beyond its original meaning and become like a cosplay costume party, with shopping streets, train stations, and even kindergartens all dyed in Halloween colors, and finally, Shibuya Scramble becomes a huge commotion... This seems to be an annual custom.
Returning to "tearsheaven," in recent years, sales haven't particularly skyrocketed because of Halloween.
After seeing the sheer volume and prices of Halloween-themed accessories from the now-defunct "Claire's Japan," I decided, "I will go my own way!" and here I am today.
