Aomoji-kei fashion magazine

Yarn seems to be selling well... Indeed, the shelves at 100-yen shops are sparse.
It seems the knitting boom in the Reiwa era was sparked by Miyawaki Sakura of the Korean girl group LE SSERAFIM... Reading an article about that, it brought back memories of magazines from the Heisei era.
A nostalgic term: "Aomoji-kei magazines"!!
Around 2000, during the golden age of fashion magazines, Shibuya-kei and conservative-style magazines like "JJ," "ViVi," and "CanCam" were contrasted as "Akamoji-kei magazines."
Of course, the quintessential Aomoji-kei magazine was "KERA!"
"KERA SHOP" was what inspired me to start making Gothic Lolita accessories.
At that time, the shop and the publisher were linked, and tearsheaven's mail order was also through the magazine's mail-order book.
The models were often reader models, dressed in their favorite Lolita and Gothic brand clothes, featured in street snaps in places like Harajuku.
Now, as I flip through those old magazines again, I feel the "power of magazines."
So many people and companies were involved, working in various fields and from different angles, ensuring that every month, without fail, the issue was released on time.
I remember the work that went into it month after month... Thinking up samples, making them, and sending them to the publisher. Sometimes delivering them at the very last minute.
If I were to describe myself from that time in one word:
"Passion"
